About The Ponca Playhouse
The Ponca Playhouse is now in its 67th season of continuously running community theatre. Our black box theatre has a lobby area, green room, costume & prop shop as well as a box office area.
The Playhouse is home to a huge costume collection and prop room including wigs, hats and accessories, glassware, era appropriate electronics and all manner of accessories for theaters and parties. The Playhouse is a 120 seat theater including a reception/lobby area complete with TV/Video capability and extra practice areas throughout the building. The Playhouse also has excellent Fiber-optic Internet access The theater is available for rental during non-show times for meetings, workshops and reunions. Please check with the box office on building rental availability.
The Playhouse is actively seeking Corporate Sponsorships for the 2025-2026 season. The Ponca Playhouse has hosted workshops on playwriting, makeup application and theater dancing. We look forward to working with other community groups in the future and believe that collaboration is much better for the arts community than competition. If you can't find something to do in Ponca City, well, you aren't looking hard enough. Sponsorship can be as low as $500 for a show sponsor to assist with costumes or lighting up to a Season Sponsorship for $2000 with your company logo on all printed materials and 10 tickets to each production for your company to utilize.
Advertising Space in the Programs for your company or service is a great way to get the name of your business out there. Each of our 5 season productions consist of six to eight shows, and each night people receive a program with YOUR ad. Our programs are also offered digitally, giving your advertising dollar even more reach!

Volunteers are always welcome at the Playhouse. Whether you like designing or making costumes, working backstage, building sets or have always wanted to get involved with the theater, now is your opportunity.
The Ponca Playhouse Board consists of 12 board members. Each board member may serve on the board for three years, two terms consecutively. Current board members are:
Meghann Borum, President; Ryan Brown, Vice-President; Todd Stuart, Treasurer; Jake Arington, Assistant Treasurer; Tamara Campbell, Secretary; and our at-large board members are Brian Hermanson, Kelly Riddle, Dolley Rolland, Michelle Bailey, Sara Buffalohead-Bell, Karen Mason and Stacie Snyder
