Lance Garrett (Director) is thrilled to be making his Ponca Playhouse debut. Many lifetimes ago Lance acted in numerous shows including Once Upon A Mattress, Bring Back Birdie, Anything Goes, Romeo & Juliet, and Harold and Maude. As a stage manager, he has worked on, Picasso At The Lapin Agile, Deathtrap, and Over The River & Through The Woods, to name a few. Some of Lance's directing credits include BecauseHeCan, A Hotel on Marvin Gardens, The Pillowman, All in the Timing, World of Mirth, Glengarry Glen Ross, [title of show], Bug (also by Tracy Letts), An Impending Rupture of the Belly, The Motherfu**er with the Hat, and Gidion's Knot. Before moving to Ponca City, Lance was the co-owner and Artistic Director of Ghostlight Theatre Club and KnockDownDragOut Productions in OKC. In the non-theatre world, Lance is the Executive Director of the Ponca City Art Center and was the Director of Photography and Director of the movie short horror-comedy "Stacked Dead Actors." Lance holds a BA in Theater/Speech from Southwestern Oklahoma State University.
